Rob Roy is an exclusive community located northwest of Austin between Bee Cave Road and Highway 360. Rob Roy is made up of six subdivisions. The original Rob Roy neighborhood was established in 1979. Rob Roy on the Lake is the closest subdivision to Lake Austin’s water-based activities. Rob Roy West lots are exceptionally large, ranging from one to four acres in size. Barton Creek Country Club features four exceptional championship golf courses: an Arnold Palmer-designed course overlooking Lake Austin, two beautifully landscaped Tom Fazio courses, and a links-style course designed by Austin native Ben Crenshaw. Barton Creek’s other members-only facilities include lighted tennis courts, a state-of-the-art fitness center, children’s programs, and a dining room. Austin Country Club, established in 1899, is Texas’ most historic country club.
