If you bought a new home in 2021 and occupy the home as your principal residence, it's time to file your Texas Homestead Exemption.

A homestead exemption reduces the total amount you will pay in property taxes, year-after-year - and you only have to file this once. To receive this exemption, you must file an application with your respective County's Appraisal District, no later than April 30th. Follow the link to your County Appraisal District below:
