This Friday we headed over to the East Side of Austin to visit Centoe, a neighborhood cafe.
Location: East Austin
Vibe: Down to Earth, Secluded, Relaxed
Menu: Coffee, Beer & Wine, Full Menu with emphasis on local retailers
Outlet Access: 10/10
East Austin is filled with young professionals and known to hold on to the old Austin era. Brimming with local cafes, boutiques, and store fronts its hard to find any chain store past the I-35. Most restaurants have outdoor seating, a unique take on Austin fare, and a unpretentious yet hip Austin atmosphere.
A converted East Side house, Cenote is filled with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and offers a homey workspace. You'll find cool statues & art pieces, mix-matched furniture, and plenty of greenery. Outlets line the walls and can be found under most outdoor tables. Holding up to the East Austin standards, their menu is scattered with local Austin favorites and most items have a fun Austin take on them. We found this to be a great cafe to settle in for a few hours before exploring the local shops that can be found a short drive away.
